I usually prefer to stay at a Marriott. But this Marriott is an exception to that. We booked a room at this Marriott because it was part of a wedding block rate. We did consider booking a hotel that was maybe a little cheaper and closer to the venue. However, because of my preference for Marriott and the fact that you usually get what you pay for, we decided to stay here. When we checked in we were told that the bag check had a gift bag for us from the wedding couple (which the couple so nicely left for us and PAID the hotel to hand out). When we went to pick it up at the bag check we were then told that no, the hotel did not have the gift basket. We were told that we had already picked it up. We had already picked it up! What? We did not even get an apology for not having the gift bag. This gift basket had all the instructions for the event for the wedding guests. So at this point we have no idea how to get on the shuttle (which the couple also paid for) to get the venue. The only person we knew at the wedding was the bride and we certainly were not going to call her 2 hours before the wedding. When we explained this to the concierge we got a blank stare. I then asked the concierge to help me get in touch with another guest at the wedding to get the details and I was told that could not happen because of privacy concerns. I didn't even need to the room number. The desk could have called the guest and asked for us. I then explained that we would have to take and pay for a taxi. I asked the concierge if the hotel would pay for the taxi, you know, because they lost the bag. The concierge, again, declined. When we got to our room I tried to call the hotel manager and left a message. No response. I emailed Marriott corporate, no response. I then called the hotel directly and asked for a manager. Each time they took down my information and promised to have a manager call me back. I have yet to hear back from Marriott. I know that in the grand scheme of things loosing a gift bag and having to pay for a taxi doesn't seem like a big deal. But when you show up expecting a stress free good time and your not getting the service you paid for, it is very disappointing. This will definitely make me reconsider any sort of loyalty to Marriott.

Great hotel! Great pool! WONDERFUL staff...each and every one. The rooms themselves need upgrading. NOT ONE SINGLE drawer to put clothes, and the pillows are awful. ALL IN ALL I highly recommended this hotel.

I came here for a work event - the rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was extremely helpful! The conference areas were also great. Docked one star because the walls are a little thin, so you can hear other guests in the halls and alarms going off in other rooms early in the morning.

A very clean hotel.... like you would expect from Marriott anywhere. The location is next to a driveway so that is convenient...but... this is N OT a great neighborhood. It feels like tou are in a business area on a weekend....ghost town. The y do not have room service. I would not choose this property unless I had a good reason to.... or someone else was paying.

Nice hotel but we were unaware of the $25/day mandatory fee they charge you per day you stay. You get a $25 credit toward the restaurant in the hotel. But who's to say I want to eat there in the hotel when I can find food that I actually want and for less. You are kind of forced to use the credit, if you don't you just wasted $25 each day you are there. The parking is a bit much as well. $40 per day.
