  Me and my friend love this place. The food was amazing and the owner actually made our food which was so impressive. The best home cooking in DC. Very intimate and inexpensive mouth watering cusine.

  I've driven by this place nearly every day for four years, seen it open sometimes, and somehow only made it today for the first time. Straight up gem. Amazing NC BBQ. Mac and cheese and potato salad on point. Everyone is really friendly including other customers (a huge plus in DC). Not fancy inside, looks like a place you'd find out in the cut, but I prefer that. Takeout order was ready pretty quick and was really delicious. Very reasonable prices for dinner. Will definitely be going back.

  Very recomended if you want to feel yourself in a restaurant like in 70's. The atmospher is preserved thanks to its charming waiter. He will receive you with and smile and forgotten good manners nowadays. Homemade meals prepared with dedication, awsome apple jam and very affordable prices (2$ homemade apple pie, 7$ fish and fries,..) . If you want to enjoy a real american meal running away of precooked frozen stuff and chain restaurants that sell crap, this is, no doubt, your place!!! Looking forward to come back again.
