::Meh. The pizza was a little burnt and the toppings were boring. Three stars for ambience and service. Maybe we'll be back for a pizza—maybe we'll just make one at home. Too much hype for a mediocre pizzeria, IMHO.

::Frustrating visit. Walked in for lunch at around 1:15 p.m. yesterday and the place was only moderately busy. Sat at the bar where there was only two other people. I left after about 10 minutes as no one so much has acknowledged my existence or brought me a glass of water. The poor bartender was walking around doing table Service as well While others were just standing around watching. Disappointing because I really wanted to try the food.

::The pizza was well cooked and all, but the toppings on the default pies are more of the hipster type, not the traditional styles. You can get traditional still, it's just mostly ala carte. The service was pleasant, and they were busy, so we weren't the only ones with this idea, but the wait was minimal even though they were so busy. All around nice evening. Prices are on par with the rest of DC...high, but not remarkably so

::Believe the hype. All-Purpose Pizzeria served up one of the best pizzas I’ve had since moving to the area. Their dough was bubbly, with a crispy and airy crust, while the toppings were serviced on foldable, yet sturdy slice that was proofed well before being served bringing out wonderful air bubbles in the dough. I ordered the Randolph which included ingredients that wonderfully contrasted each other That brought everything to a crescendo of pizza enjoyment with every bite. I was everything I hope for in a pizza. I will definitely come back for another pie in the near future.

::My pregnant wife was hungry to the point of tears. Our server was fast with the bread and got the great calzone out with minimal delay. Happy wife, happy life!
