  If for nothing else, this place deserves five stars for the dessert. We shared a few small plates, including a delicious smashed spicy cucumber, but made sure to leave plenty of room for dessert. I had the birthday cake, while my friends got crack pie. Both mind-blowing.

  The Happy Hour deals at Momofuku are on point, especially given the upscale location in CityCenter. We did not get anything off the dinner menu but the pork belly bun, spicy cucumbers, and the Pimento Cheese and bread ( each 5$) were each delicious and the IPA on tap (6$) was as well. The outdoor patio is spacious and elegant. Definitely one of the best outdoor happy hours I have come across in downtown Washington.

  The four stars are for the food and drinks, they were AMAZING. The spicy cucumbers were my favorite, but the beet salad and oyster dip were also delicious. For the entree my party shared the chicken which was incredible and came with great sides. Milk Bar deserts were also amazing and we left stuffed with lots of leftovers. However, the service was not great. We often times could not find our waiter and had to ask other staff for things. He also forgot a lot of items. The restaurant did not seem that busy, but he could have been and maybe we just didn't see it. Regardless, I look forward to going back.

  Great fancy Asian restaurant by David Chang. Casual vibe but flavorable and we'll presented food. Nice patio when it is open and service is attentive. Prices are in line for quality of food and location.

  $17 ramen? While good, I really prefer the beef noodle soup. Now that's where it's at. The convenience of ordering Milk bar's dessert at Momofuku for these first couple of crazy months is honestly worth dining at Momofuku it in and of itself. The pork buns were really good although comparable to other (cheaper) ones I've had in the DC metro area. I was able to try some of the black bass, which was very tasty but oh god the Korean Fried catfish is a real selling point. I highly recommend it. To be honest, for the average diner, I think that it's at least worth checking it out for the Hype and to form your own opinion. Yes, Momofuku is more than you'd pay elsewhere for merely the same thing, but sometimes its nice to buy into the hype, you know?
