::Over the past year or so I've been going to the Institute to get my hair colored. My experience with the coloring has been good but it's the dependablity of the students that makes me give only two stars. My appointments have started over 30 minutes late to needing to be rescheduled. My most recent was for my appointment today. I scheduled an appointment for 10 AM. Received the text message a couple of days before confirming. Last night I received a call stating that my stylist wasn't coming in on Saturday but they had an appointment at 3:30 PM. So I rescheduled. Today (Saturday) I received a call at 11:15 AM telling me that my stylist wasn't coming in and that they could do my cut but couldn't do the color this evening. When asked if I wanted to get the cut I don't them no that I wouldn't be coming back. Instead of saying I'm sorry to hear that they just hang up on me. It's one thing to be good at providing the service but I would hope that the school would teach students about being dependable and to honor committment.

::Incredibly unprofessional, unresponsive front desk staff and manager. Their behavior to customers is appalling. Decent haircuts by aspiring students who are nice and friendly. Maybe train up your leadership and the greeters to represent the brand better.

::I love coming here. Haven’t had any cancellations nor have I ever had a long wait. Last year, I surprised my sister with a facial for her birthday and, she loved it. Today, we did treated ourselves for Mother’s Day. I received my facial from a young lady by the name of “Kayla.” She was great. Her touch was firm but gentle. The institute always smells good. Although she is a student, she is very professional. I am booking my next facial in July with her. Thank you, Michelle and Kayla.

::Ok... I really liked my stylist; however it took her almost 4 hours to color, straighten, and trim my hair. I felt I could have been out a lot sooner if she was a little less chatty with her peers! Otherwise, she did a fantastic job and I tipped her an extra $15. Please be mindful these are young people in training and as a customer you should be prepared to tip at least 10%! You are already receiving salon quality at a discounted rate!

::First things first, this is a school. My hair appointments here always go longer than they would at a normal salon. But for the price, I bring a book, and I'm fine. This location gets a LOT of traffic, especially on weekends, so I have learned to book appointments on weekdays as soon as I can get out of work to avoid crowds. Has every single student stylist gotten it right? No. But there is always an educator on hand to fix you up if your student isn't quite understanding your vision. I have gotten pedicures, manicures, facials, back treatments, haircuts, hair color, and eyebrow grooming done here. I am really pleased I can get so much done in one place, and the price to me is well worth the little bit of extra patience to guide your student toward your desired look.
