I recently moved to the area, and I own a bike already. I ride by the shop on a daily basis going to and from work. The past few days I've noticed my rear hub/axle bolt has been loose and it's something that can be fixed within 30 seconds of effort and the right tool. I just got this bike and just started working, and I'm putting my life back together basically. So I didn't have the tool needed to fix this issue I was having. So today as I was heading back home I decided to stop by and ask for a little help. I parked my bike outside and walked in, and was greeted well enough. And I proceeded to ask the guys for a little help. I told them that my hub/axle needed to be tightened up. One guy looked at me then looked at the other guy, which prompted the other guy to say that they don't loan out tools, because "it's a liability". He asked me if I would like to buy some tools. I said I couldn't afford to buy some tools right now. With that they said sorry we cant help you and i was on my way. I'm not saying that they should have dropped what they were doing and helped somebody who didn't have any money to offer for said help, but it would have been nice. I'm new to the area like I said, and my past experiences with other bike shops is that they are more than willing to at least take a look at the problem and see what needs to be done, and more often than not will tighten up a bolt for you. I'm pretty sure my hub/axle just needs to be tightened up but who knows, maybe I need some more work done. I do know this, if I ever do need anything done to this bike, or to purchase a new bike or parts, what have you... the place that will not be getting my business is Archer's.

What a wonderful shop. I was looking for a pedal assist bike and started at Archers. Four local shops later I returned to Archers to purchase. Great customer service. They answered all of my questions, some twice. If you are looking to purchase a bicycle be sure to check this shop out. Real customer service.

I recently bought my 14 or old son an electric bike....and 4 days later he gets a flat....Archers Bikes is the only and Best place I could find to fix it....they were fast...it only took minutes. I plan to continue bringing his bike for routine maintenance. The staff was professional/ knowledgeable about bikes as I observed the owner and staff spend time adjusting parts/ explaining/answering questions for customer with patience.....if your looking to buy they are the place!!
