  Intimate feel, low lighting, oldies played overhead. Reservations are recommended. Lots of Italian staples and house specials.

  Food and service always good just a little too much butter for me. Steak soup was awesome as was the shrimp scampi appetizer. Definitely enough for a full meal. The bread is just okay. Salads are so tasty and fresh.

  We are from Virginia and we chose this restaurant over a slightly pricier one and that turned out to be an excellent choice! The food was excellent (although I didn't care for my lasagna and traded it for chicken provolone), the service was top notch, and the peach sangria was amazing! They give great portion sizes along with bread and salad. The oil mixture that comes with the bread was very unique and tasty. The ambiance in the restaurant is nice as well; there's candles and dim lights and great music. I highly recommend this family owned Italian spot for anyone in or passing through KC! Kudos to Vito, third generation owner!

  Huge disappointment! It was our first time there along with family from out of town (4/15/2018). The food was not good...Teresa's Lasagna & the Italian Sub sandwich looked like something you would get from the frozen section of a cheap grocery store and definitely NOT worth $16 each. The only positive thing I can say is that our waiter & the staff were nice. We were quite frustrated since the place got decent reviews. They must be cutting corners on the food & not making it fresh to save money. We will never go back....

  this place is super cool. when you walk in it has a full bar area, booths and tables on the other side. they offer a 2 for 15.00 lunch special that includes soda. our waitress was amazing. i will definitely go back again.
