  Small, relatively quiet bar (at least on Tuesday night). Cash only. No kitchen. Bartender spent most of his time chatting with a friend and playing darts, but was happy to get us drinks when we asked for them.

  I stumbled upon Whitney's on a slow, misty Sunday afternoon, sat at the bar, chatted with a handful of regulars about all kinds of sports, and immediately felt at home. Great music, great people, laid-back atmosphere, plenty of TVs tuned to a variety of sports (with the volume down to encourage conversation). I'll be back.

  Total dive bar. Cash only. Pretty small bar. It has touchtunes which is great. Nice to have this place here with all the upscale changes coming to Harvard Square.
