::Forgot who I specifically spoke to on the phone today; if I remembered I would say who it was. I was charged an overdraft fee for a transaction I did not authorize, which further overdrafted my account. I called the 1-800 Wells Fargo account hotline and was not able to speak to a real person about my issue so I attempted to contact my local branch to attempt to settle this issue. The rep I spoke to said she would put in a request to her manager/supervisor so that he may authorize my fee to be waived and that I should expect a refund to my account by 4:30 today. 7:40, still no refund. Perhaps it was my fault for not constantly nagging my branch today to attempt to help me receive the refund I absolutely deserve, but surely such nagging shouldn't be necessary for an approval on a scale like this. Nationally and locally I am unable to get back the money that is mine. Just reached out to Wells Fargo through Twitter which linked me to a live chat service; the rep there was confused why this branch told me they could reverse my fee today and claimed that it would be refunded only after my initial charge was reversed. What is going on?
