::Signed up with two new lines during a promotion to receive $100 gift cards for each line switched over. Easy peasy! Except apparently the employees aren't kept up to date on constantly changing promotions or how to actually receive them. First we were told that we would receive a texted link with the gift cards 30-45 days after signing up. Annoying, but fine. So 45 days pass and we don't have the gift cards, so we call and ask. Oh, they'll actually be mailed to you. Nothing came in the mail. We stop by the store again (this time to also purchase a new phone), and we're told that we had to fill out some form within 30 days of signing up to receive the promotion and that we don't qualify anymore. Excuse me? None of the employees we'd spoken to up until that point mentioned anything about this form, so they said they'd get everything handled with the manager. We call again to follow up (because no one followed up with us) and they say they that a ticket has to be opened with customer service or something and they'd take care of it for us, but we'll need to follow up with customer service moving forward. So we call customer service, and there aren't any notes on our account regarding the situation. After about 40 minutes on the phone with them we finally (hopefully) have a resolution. Also, when we were buying the new phone at the last visit, the rep kept adding things to our account that we didn't ask for and we had to tell him to remove to avoid getting ripped off (upgrading our plan to unlimited, adding a screen protector and case before asking, adding a monthly insurance charge, etc.) Even after we told him we just want the dang phone we ended up with a charge on our bill for the insurance that we explicitly told him to remove after he shadily added it in the first place. Incredibly frustrating experience all around. If you actually want to get anything fixed, call customer support. Might waste an hour of your time, but at least they're more competent and will actually accomplish something.

::I had the best experience at this Verizon store. I switched from ATT to Verizon and associate Kellen Bell spent well over an hour assisting me with transferring content and learning the functionality of my new phone. He even told me about a discount because of my employment. Additionally, I like the team approach at the store. Kellen's manager introduced himself and assisted for a short time; as well as the assistance from another associate. Everyone there was knowledgeable, professional, yet personable and worked together so well. I highly recommend this store.
