  Both my Mother and Father paid for the services of Van Orsdel decades ago in Miami. I'm not sure of the exact date but perhaps 80s. When my Father passed one call to Van Orsdel and everything was taken care of. That was in 2001. At that point my Mother came to live with us in Boca Raton. She lived with us until 2018. She was 3 weeks short of 101 when she passed. I was a little concerned about the distance involved and the time that had passed. But again one call relaying all the pertinent information regarding my Mother was all it took. If you want to save your loved ones the problem of taking care of your remains when you pass I recommend cremation and Van Orsdel.

  My experience with Van Orsdel was fantastic. My sister passed away and I didn't know what to do or what to expect. I was lost. I just lost my best friend. David was professional and very compassionate to what I was going though. He and his staff handled everything. Bruce was available throughout the private viewing the night before the service. If I needed anything, he was right there and on top of it. Nothing can make this time bearable. Losing someone you love is hard enough and knowing that David and the rest of the Van Orsdel team had my back to make sure everything was perfect for my sister, took so much stress off of me. I am so thankful for them. Thank you so much for all your help.

  David Gonzalez and his colleagues were so compassionate and caring toward our family when our mother passed away. Everything was professional and he was always available to answer our questions.

  This review is based on my interactions with Van Orsdel Funeral Chapels as a member of the US Army Reserve Honor Guard. Our team frequents funeral homes, and Van Orsdel certainly stands out. Their team is very organized, and are always a pleasure to work with. We also appreciate their willingness to host our USAR Honor Guard training sessions. We appreciate the hospitality of their Coral Gables Manager, David Gonzalez who has allowed our unit to train new members in the tradition of rendering honors to our veterans.

  The VanOrsdel family and staff were very helpful. My parents passed within 1 week of each other, they made a very stressing hard time easier by their professionalism and expertise.
