Save your time, save the hassle and just donā€™t go here. Sadly, I have been coming here on and off for the past 4 years. Iā€™m a college student and I love being able to stay in my car and watch whatā€™s happening as well as the quick service. But I have dealt with a lot of things I shouldnā€™t have with this location... due to the fact I was scared to go anywhere else and it be worse service. And I started to trust this place. Hereā€™s the deal. They are always nice, I never have an issue with that. But the work is careless. I took my car in this morning, had an oil change paid $50 for this oil change mind you (after my student discount of $15 off). I then had to come to another auto shop to get nitrogen in my tires because Valvoline doesnā€™t have it. I had the other shop check my car since Iā€™m taking it on a trip next week. I have been told that valvoline over filled my oil which can cause damage to my car, they put the oil cap back on without it having the o-ring on it which could allow for leaking. To which they took me to see my car and see exactly what they were talking about. Just donā€™t do it. Itā€™s not worth the ā€œ15 minā€ - Iā€™ll sit for as long as it takes for my oil change to be done RIGHT elsewhere. As well as telling everyone I can, not to go here. P.s. who knows what would have happened if I had taken my car on this trip after this careless service. I even talked with the Manager about my car and yes he was nice but I donā€™t find the ā€œtrustedā€ aspect of their business to be accurate. I shouldnā€™t fear taking my car in to a shop to get a routine oil change and leave feeling scammed. No matter my gender, age or knowledge about cars I shouldnā€™t be taken advantage of and thatā€™s exactly how I feel. UPDATE 3/21: I did contact customer service and still haven't been responded to after the customer service representative told me they needed to speak with management about my review/claim and that they would get back with me. I have had zero communication from them and I think its the perfect example about how Valvoline will say they will do whatever they can - yet they don't care to take care or responsibility of mistakes they made. OF COURSE if it is "their" word verses mine they aren't going to hear me or the other auto shop out when considering they make the call and weren't the ones who saw it. Its ridiculous. I'm done and will make sure that everyone I know doesn't go here. WASTE OF TIME.

WARNING! If google would allow me to give negative stars I would and I would urge anyone visiting this location to be cautious. I came in for a routine oil change. The service agent told me that my car needed transmission fluid replaced. Because I trusted the mechanic providing the service, I thought I needed to do this. After this was done and the mechanic told me I was good to go, I tried to start the engine and it flickered by then died. I asked one of the mechanics what had happened and he said he didn't know. Then he said they would jump the vehicle. Another mechanic came by and said that they use the battery for the transmission procedure, but that this shouldn't typically happen. I assumed it was a mistake. They jumped the vehicle. It worked, but I asked for them to check the battery. They said it check out fine. In fact, one said, "that's about as good as you can get." I drove home not giving it another thought. I live less than a mile from the store, so I thought nothing of it. When I start to head out for work the next morning the vehicle makes a loud strange noise when I try to turn it on and then just dies. When my husband and I look at the battery there is visible damage to parts of it, in fact it looks corroded and this car is only two years old. My receipt from the day before even said the battery was fine and the mechanic told me my battery was fine. I called them to tell them of the issue and the first manager I spoke with was reasonable even though I was a little upset. He offered to have me come in after AAA came to jump the vehicle. When AAA came the battery was damaged and needed to be replaced. I called the store back to tell them and give them a heads up I would be coming in. When I called I was routed to the same mechanic that worked on my car the day before, so I was very upset. He tried to argue with me about what happened which I didn't appreciate and when I asked to speak to the manager again he said he was busy and would have to call me back. They never called. I was so furious at this service I refused to come in and let them touch my vehicle. I asked for a refund given the circumstances and I assume that's why he wouldn't let me speak to the manager. So, in addition to the $200 I was already out for the transmission procedure that I didn't really want or need, and that damaged my car, I was now out an additional $134 for a new battery that I shouldn't have had to replace for at least another year at best given that most new batteries can last 3-5 years. The mechanic was incredibly rude and defensive rather than trying to make amends for the damage to my vehicle. Plus, I never heard back from the manager, which tells me this location would rather ignore its mistakes than provide customer service. If my battery had died on the road this could have been very serious. I warn anyone who goes here to please be careful, but really avoid this place if you can afford and have the time for better service because this kind of thing can be really dangerous.
