::Great place to hang out with friends and enjoy good beer. The inside is large with lots of tables for seating. We didn't even realize they had an outside biergarten until we were leaving, but it looked really cool as we were driving by. The Essen is eclectic with the food options, offering a variety of dishes from tasters to full meals. It sounds weird, but my favorite part of the foods I ordered was the mustard that came with the pretzel platter. Sweet Bavarian mustard with a blast of horseradish - yum! All of the staff was super nice and polite.

::I don't know if I just went on an off day for Urban Chestnut or what!?!? I went there last Wed to have a beer with a friend and did like the atmosphere but when we ordered the onion dip they told us it would be an hour wait! I was dumbfounded!!! An hour wait on a Wed night for some dip and literally a bag of chips is ridiculous!! Will not go out of my way to go back. The 2 stars was because they do have good beer;)

::I have been to this location several times and never been disappointed. The food is amazing, I hope they bring back the Cuban sandwich 🙂. Bar keeps are friendly happy to answer any and all questions you have. I like this location better than the one in the grove as it is quieter ( only in comparison) easy parking and has more character. And, not to mention the board games. I don’t have to mention the brews, they have amazing beers on tap, as expected 🙂🍺

::Perfect venue for our large party of about 20. Food was excellent! It was nice being able to sample beers. We really enjoyed playing games...nice touch! Loved the laidback, easygoing atmosphere! Great friendly service! Can't wait to go back!
