  We booked a car 3 months before our trip to Washington DC. When we arrived we were told they “had no cars”. How do you not have cars when people have reservations??? Apparently since it’s a holiday weekend customers just have to wait and hope someone brings a car back to fulfill a prepaid reservation.

  Arrived at Thrift location in Reagan National after pre booking my car 2 months out and pre paying. Once I arrived not only was there one person working the busiest counter at the time but they did not have cars for anyone who pre booked. My question is if all these people pre booked, you know the numbers and what should be there on the lot. The only reason I did not try and get a refund was because it was too much of a hassle and I didn't want to risk getting charges and then paying for another service.

  Great value rental despite other people giving negative reviews. I had no problems with my 2 week rental and picked up a well specced 2017 Nissan Altima with less than 20k miles on the clock.

  We left our sunglasses in a car and called right after to ask someone to hold on to them but couldn't talk with someone there in the airport. The operator could not connect us, seems ridiculous! The only thing we could was file a general lost and found report.

  I was actually really happy with Thrifty. I rented with a bunch of companies at DCA and this was the easiest and the quickest company to deal with (and had the nicest/newest car). They also did not try to force a bunch of additional options. Very happy with the service. THanks!
