  I prefer Alamo over all other rental companies because of the price, the cleanliness of the cars and the overall service. I like the online check-in, the self service desk, and the ease of signing in. I've used Alamo for rental cars for at least the past 8-9 years and I have never been dissatisfied.

  Really Impressed with Staff...and Car Selection...and Price. Booked a Minivan and not only was the vehicle almost new but the Alamo rep took the time to show me a few of the features that I probably wouldn't have found on my own - the extra USB slots in the way back, the tucked-away rear seat heaters controls... Good experience. Picked up Easter late afternoon, returned three days later dinnertime.

  Had a fantastic experience. Staff was friendly. I had to add a day to my rental. When I arrived they didn't have the grade of vehicle I rented so they upgraded me without any problem or upcharging. I highly recommend Alamo rental :)

  Alamo at Reagan Airport in DC is first rate. Check in is easy and cars are right there. No muss, no fuss. First time I ever drove a Nissan Rogue and did not know they were so nice. May just have to buy one back home.

  Credit where it's due. This company went above and beyond to turn a negative situation into a positive. There was a discrepancy in our contract upon checkout, and I believed I had overpaid $53 for an extra driver fee that I hadn't desired. I walked out the door thinking I'd lost the $53, and that the situation was done with. A few days later, I received an unsolicited phone call from Alamo's area manager. He was very courteous and apologetic for our miscommunication. They refunded the $53 without my even asking stating, "we hope to keep you as a customer." Integrity goes a long way in my book, and I've seen first-hand that Alamo truly places their customers over their bottom line. They've got a loyal customer in me.
