  Outdated. Tiny rooms. Not cheap for what you get. Staff there are very nice though.

  Very pleased with this hotel! The location could not have been better for spending time in the East Village. Within a block from Rockwood Music Hall for free live music and Upright Citizen's Brigade for catching an improv show, plus a ton of restaurants and bars. The hotel is also on the same block as the 2nd avenue metro station. The staff was pleasant, and the room was very nice - clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the weather was bad, so I didn't get to check out their patio. If you are looking for a large room, I wouldn't recommend staying here as the rooms are small (to be expected in NYC). However, for my needs it was perfect.

  Room size is decent, as well as location, but ultimately the hotel feels a bit run down. "Basement" area is pretty shanty, elevator went down, keycards will wipe your room if you "have it too close to your wallet or cellphone". Nice staff and whatnot, but not looking for a second visit!

  LES location great, near lots of really good restaurants. Room a wee bit small but price was amazing.

  The overall experience was nice. The room was a bit small but well furnished. The staff was polite and helpful.
