  Experience was good. Rooms were clean but less spacious.But could have been better if the improve room service. Water bottles are super costly and not even included during checkin also. At least kettle should be present during winter stay as its pretty cold in winter. Hot water is served after long time once asked.

  The hotel bar was great for a cold night. We were seated in the outdoor patio, which had plenty of heaters that kept the space nice and toasty. I ordered the Standard beer on draft and it came in a big stein/mug. More beer than I expected for a hotel bar.

  Prices for food were high for what it was but the coffee prices were very reasonable. Note that while attentive, there was a lul in staff attention between the morning and midday shifts which was annoying. However, on the whole, the restaurant and café is an awesome place to go to meet friends or do business. Shaded, sophisticated and sleek. Also, have fun with the interior design. It is one of a kind! Will be coming back again.

  This Standard is the best of them all, no attitude, down to earth, great service from Will and Aiden and others. Perfect location, better views than most any other NYC hotel. Stick with the even room numbers... They're corner rooms. Rivington used to be my favorite, now it's this place... Standard East Village, do it, you won't go wrong!

  This hotel went above and beyond our expectations. The staff was exceptional -- very helpful and chatty. The café offers delicious food, drinks, and a great atmosphere. The hotel is easily accessed by subway and is close to tons of places to eat and shop. The room was always kept spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Can't wait to book here again!
