  The max of Montclair is the best. It anchored my day like no other regimen has. The workouts are amazing as well as flexible. You can modify as necessary. I happened to be in Lou's crew, which is quite the privilege, because Lou is also awesome. Very kind, funny, and motivating. In fact, I found all of the trainers to be very inspiring and knowledgeable. I think the fact that the classes are 45 minutes versus an hour make all the difference too. Even though the workouts are quite challenging, they're not impossible. I've never felt so good. Unlike most places in Montclair, there is plenty of parking on site. This is a huge plus! The max is pretty much perfect in every way, like gym heaven. My friend recommended the Max to me, and I'm so happy that she did. Now I'm thrilled to be a legacy member.

  The Max Challenge is the most fun experience i've ever had working out! i hadn't worked out in over a year and when i came into the max for my first workout i felt right at home. you quickly get to know everyone and become a family as well as challenge yourself everyday. Everyone is so helpful and i couldn't be more greatful for the max!

  The Max Program of Montclair is a life changer. If the idea of going to a gym, attending weight watcher classes and enduring boring diets is part of your weight loss regime -- as you try to get healthy -- throw all of it out the window. This ten-week program, of 5 x 45 minutes exercise classes each week, combined with healthy, clean eating, ensures the pounds drop off, as you get fitter, stronger and healthier by the week. The classes are fun: Monday is cardio, Tuesday, weights, Wednesday, cardio, Thursday Legs, Friday Cardio and kickboxing. And did I mention how much FUN you’ll have, with inspiring instructors? In any class, there are many shapes and body sizes, young and old, male and female. Thanks to owner Toby Max for bringing the Max to Montclair.

  Two weeks in and this program has been life changing. Awesome staff, great community, fun workouts and smart, easy to follow nutrition. It's great for super fit people just looking to change it up, all the way to people just trying to get fit for the first time. It's about building a healthy life with healthy habits.... And it works. Give it a try!
