  This Home Depot is a very busy store. Customer service help is usually lacking. Products are usually priced reasonable. Parking lot is quite active.

  What you would expect for any Home Depot. People are nice and helpful. Some definitely know a lot more than others when it comes to advice.

  Writing a review isn’t something I’d normally do when shopping for odds and ends at a chain store. However, once in a while you have an experience that begs to be shared so the person in question can get the kudos they deserve – especially in a chain store. So, a few days ago I my wife had to go to Home Depot on Wadsworth. Normally, I do the Home Depot shopping, but was out of town so it was up to my wife to get what we needed. She had a list of a few random items and was anticipating one of those awful “wandering around lost feelings” that are so common in monolithic stores like Home Depot. Well, she couldn’t have been more wrong. A gentleman by the name of John H. found her staring at an aisle shelf and asked if he could help her. She hates that feeling, but, since she was out of her depth trying to find all these little parts I had requested, She said sure. This man walked her all the way around the store identifying the items on her list and recommending better ones where available. Even better, his recommendations were spot on. She had an experience that will keep her coming back. Not because the store was nice or easy to navigate, no, simply because that’s where John H. works. He epitomizes customer service and professionalism. Give the man a promotion, Home Depot. He deserves every penny!
