  It's a place to offer condolences to every person who served our country, who may be not hero but he is. My workplace gives me a chance to visit this place pretty often. And every time it's a meditation, thinking what if. DC has another place similar to this - Japanese American memorial. They are totally different, opposite but at the same time giving you timeto think. If you step into Veterans memorial, take your time and read.

  Quiet outdoor memorial in honor of the generally unsung heroes of our military, those living with a life altering disablilty garnered during service.

  Understated but elegant. Visit in the early morning or at night.

  Thanks to making a Monument to those who have given so much. It was a welcomed sight on my walk down the Ave at night.

  Went here as a school project and learned a great deal bout our disabled veterans. Wonderful place to visit
