  Today March 29, 2018 at about 4:30 p.m. I went to this location to get my bread and about 1/2hr. later when I got home discovered they gave me the wrong thing call them explained the situation and that was injured and can walk, the lady that answered the phone hang up on me I call back and they had an attitude and didn't solve my problem, the only thing they say was to go tomorrow or when ever I can and that they will credit me for, in the mean while I was with out bread for our supper. Apparently they must have talked among themselves and decided to deliver me the bread after they close, even when that wouldn't help with my supper it will help with our breakfast.

  Great pastries and bread but be prepared to wait on line at peak times. Well worth that wait though.

  I feel like no matter what glowing review I write for Teixeira's it still wouldn't do it justice. I had never been exposed to Portuguese food until my office moved to the Ironbound section of Newark and boy was I in for a delightful surprise. From their bakery items to their sandwiches, there is literally nothing that comes close to the taste and freshness of their food. I brought a box of assorted pastries home to my wife and she loved it. I have to bring home a box every few weeks now. If you have not been to this location yet, stop what you are doing and go to Teixeiras. It is hands down one of the best surprises I have ever experienced. YOU ROCK!

  Lovely staff. Amazing food. Never been disappointed. Been going here for years. Highly recommended... Sandwiches are always delicious, their desserts is always nice and fresh. There are no cons about this bakery. The staff is nice and hard working. Food is great.
