  Stein Mart is one of my favorite clothing stores. Plus they also sell beautiful housewares for the home, lingerie, shoes & linens. I love to shop here for Christmas. They always have good deals. They also offer a variety of discount coupons very often. I've been shopping here for many years & I'm never disappointed with their merchandise.

  Recently was told I was signing up for a "customer rewards" type of card, turned out that the employee at the register had signed me up for an actual credit card. Now an original $44 purchase has turned into well over $300 because of fees, not to mention the $100+ already paid for original purchase. I'll take a majority of the blame because in this day and age I should be smart enough to know better. But felt as though I was manipulated and taken advantage of, so that an employee could meet some sort of quota. Absolutely will not recommend anyone to this store, allowing employees to take advantage of their unsuspecting customers.

  This store is ghetto and nasty. Filthy bathrooms. Clogged toilets. Watch your step to keep from tripping over merchandise on the floor. Asked manager Sarah in Hurst, TX store for help. But she gave me an attitude. Asked asst manager Hailey for help and she just stared at me with a blank look on her face. Drugs? They should consider drug testing management at this store. Very unprofessional management at this store.
