  What a terrible concept as stated before in remarks. Never even got a word spoken by staff. Not a welcome, thank you, just your name called out loud. Won't be back 😌 even had to get dirty highchair for our kid . Even asked for a tip on the Kiosk no discounts tho. $43 SPENT FOR 3 HAMBURGER BASKETS AND 3 DRINKS

  Yeah, I mean Steak 'n Shake's are okay, right? This one is pretty much like every other. A little on the dirty side, but no more than any other I've been to. UPDATE 2023: The checkout process is totally contactless meaning you order on consoles when you walk in. There's no table service - they just calle your name and you walk up to get it yourself.

  I used to really enjoy coming here for their food and shakes but honestly it's gone way down hill. My husband and I ordered here yesterday 12/26/2022 and our burgers were fine but I ordered a strawberry milkshake and was able to take 1 drink out of it because it smelled and tasted like severely expired milk. I am extremely disappointed and don't understand how that could just slip by.

  Times have definitely changed Steak and shake, walk in, no registers, no waitress, all self serve kiosk, self serve drinks, maybe 4 people working. Just nor the same.

  Ordered on a kiosk, not difficult, you can get all the extras you want per price which is great, but way, way, way slower than a human being. Don't care for it. I do understand that no one wants to work these days, especially with covid. Got our food rather quickly for noon time. Drive thru slammed full. Food was very good and very hot! Single combo with cheese fries for her, double with cheese, +lettuce, mayo with drink for $19.89 The one size drink cup at the self serve soda machine is 20oz without ice. It costs $2.49. I recommend you skip this and go to McDonald's and get the $1.00 for 32oz with lite ice.
