::I went here months ago, have now moved across the country, and the meal I had here still haunts me. Three of us came in on a weeknight around 6:30, so I expected it to be at least half-full with the positive reviews it had at the time. It was deserted. Because the restaurant and bar are attached to the hotel, we came in the street door (there is no sign that says you can't), but the waitresses and bar staff all googled at us like we were aliens. We looked around for a hostess stand, thinking maybe we had come in the wrong door and needed to wait to be seated (again...deserted restaurant), and they waited for us to actually ask to sit before saying, "Oh yes! Sorry, we're waiting for someone else. Someone will help you once you sit down." We chose a table and they brought us menus. The male waiter we had was very brusque and impatient with us, clearly eager to get back to the bar and chatting with his coworkers/friends. We ordered some drinks, and waited an inordinate amount of time to receive them, including the waiter coming back over to tell us that they were out of basil for one of the drinks we'd ordered (out? the restaurant was EMPTY). When the drinks arrived, they were tiny and ill-conceived--not at all worth the $13-15 we paid for each. We had the Korean caveman pops for a starter, which were smothered in sauce and yet somehow still dry and boring. Two of us had main dishes with pork in them (the Pork-N-Waffles and a dish with pork belly and tomato sauce no longer on their menu) and the third dish I can't recall. What I do remember, though, is the overwhelming sweetness of all three dishes. The meats themselves were flavorless, and like the Caveman pops, everything was covered with excessive sauces. The Pork-N-Waffles tasted like a child was allowed to pour as much Aunt Jemima syrup all over it as they wanted, and not like the great sweet/salty combo it should. My dish, you could barely taste the meat at all. All in all, for a meal costing over $70, it was nowhere near worth the price. A total disappointment, and even more disheartening to see the glowing reviews on here. Don't be fooled, and be discerning about your food; don't eat here.

::The pesto grilled chicken sandwich was delicious!!! The Massachusetts St. Martini packed a punch. I won't complain about prices because I didn't expect a discount, so I'd say its pretty standard for the area.

::Very friendly staff and good food and drinks.

::Poor happy hour specials and very blah food for the price. Trendy but has no substance
