::I have a lot of Starbucks options like most of us. I come here (on Kildare farm road) because theyāre both nice and professional. Mostly though Iām here because its a reliable location in both drinks and efficiency. It seems well run. However on March 5 2023 I noticed something, I suppose it snapped me out of my daze. Perhaps itās what all Starbucks employees got through. The day manager was upset, I couldnāt tell you if it was justified or not. It had to do with āworking the barā, thatās all I heard. Suddenly I realized everyone was moving at a frantic calculated pace like ants protecting the hive. I felt as if a big sad weight had been placed on my chest witnessing how micro managed there every movement was. Do you know what itās like to have someone watch every place you put your hand? There was fear there. Iāll tell you I have a new found respect for them, I had a job much like this at a hospital. When I go back I will let them know I see them and thank them. I donāt think Starbucks will change but thereās always space for compassion, especially when it comes to fancy coffee we could all live without. What about a thank you board, at the store?

::We had no electricity yesterday and the drive-thru lane was huge. I went in to order and despite the craziness of the line the who team were so kind and considerate. There was one lady doing the food and she was working at 200% capacity but was so kind and sweet to everyone . I was blown away by the warmth the team showed the people who had no electricity. It was 8am and they were so bright and kind it was a credit to the team when they could have been otherwise as it was unexpected
