::Terrific hospitality when we arrived, Angela was courteous and efficient getting us checked in. The 2 Hershey bars for our Marriott status was a great surprise. Easy access to Fort Belvoir, the Pentagon and the National Harbor. Free breakfast in the morning and coffee all day in the lobby made it easy to work from the hotel room. The room had an efficient design for privacy if staying with a family or working while someone is sleeping. Fantastic value for a DC hotel!!

::Wonderful, spacious rooms, but not ideal for a longer stay in summer since there is absolutely NO place to sit outside ( there is no outdoor terrace, patio, deck, playground, bench, chair or anything outdoors). Breakfast was the typical packaged affair apparently blamed on COVID, but many tourists probably don't even get it since they cut it off at 9:30 am sharp! (What's the hurry, and what do they do with the uneaten packaged breakfast sandwiches that they take them away? Do they reheat them for tomorrow? Why not just leave them out till they are gone?). Staff was polite and friendly and hotel was fairly clean and relatively well-maintained.

::This is a good location for visiting my son and grandson. The biggest feature is free parking which saves me $30 a day over staying in the Crystal City area. Rooms are not as modern as they appear online. There are lots of plugs and convenience features. The bathroom lighting is dim and indirect.

::Room was huge and we moved 3 bikes and bike rack into the room and had plenty of space for all 5 of us. Rooms were clean and no issues. Staff was very helpful. Exercise area was adequate. Very convenient to DC and museums. We would stay again if in the area.

::This hotel is not in Alexandria. They charge a $100 “refundable” fee on top of your room fee for incidentals. This is not even noted on your room charge recipes. So I hope I am not going to be scammed out of $100. The first room we had smelled horribly of marijuana. We had to ask to move rooms as there is no way I would stay in that room. The hotel Has been updated but there are some things that were not replaced. The bathroom door did not close. The pool water was cloudy and the hot tub was closed. The towels had hair on them. The breakfast was decent. We only stayed here for one night so it was good enough. There area is a little sketchy as it is on the “other side” of the highway from Alexandria. Staff was friendly.
