  Good prices (some high, some low, some average). Great beer and wine selection. Super great staff. Just an off beat neighborhood store.

  Nice employees that don't mind a brief exchange. Pretty decent beer selection. Feels like a real neighborhood store.

  Not a gas station. You need to remove "gas station" from the description because Google maps causes this to show up when you google "gas station"

  When you want to buy beer, you shouldn't have to settle for stores that don't play loud, uncensored gangsta rap. That's why Speedway mart is the best convenience store in Austin (okay maybe third best). If you're looking for beer that's sold out at other Austin stores, check for it here—I found a sixer of Saint Arnold DR 13 just a couple of weeks ago.

  They have what you need pretty much, selection of wines, beer, has a wide range of cigarettes and accessories, rows of soft drinks + energy drinks, snacks and the normal stuff at a convenience store. Great little neighborhood store.
