::Received a Shinola watch for Christmas with a leather strap, which I had been admiring for some time. In February, the metal piece holding the strap broke. It was replaced but at this price point, pretty disappointed. At the end of August my battery died (8 months, really?). I need to send the watch in to have the battery replaced. Again, at the price point, totally unacceptable. I am really disappointed in the overall quality of the product.

::Nice store, really cool merchandise, great that it is made in the USA, the staff were very friendly and responsive when I went in, but it is on the pricier side. The only problem with a pricey new brand is that I wouldn't hesitate to drop a lot on an Omega watch, but with a new product like Shinola it makes it hard just to drop a few hundred to a couple grand on something without on proven track record.

::really bad customer service. Drove 2 hours to get to the store only to be very disappointed. Salesman tried to sell me a floor model! Not sure about the training, but when selling 500+ dollar watches NO ONE wants the floor model. This is a very bad policy.i even told him it was a gift.
