::Nice place for a quick bite for breakfast. The breakfast burrito is great and rather inexpensive. Be sure to grab a cup of coffee brewed with Temple beans (the best!).

::Spacious space with variety of seats available. Seats were tabled on the stage. Big windows, customer restroom, water available to customers and lots of snack options as well as drinks.

::Cool event idea to host open mic every other Tuesday but it’s more of an inner circle type of place. The hosts were clearly putting their friends on stage and announced that a lot of people wouldn’t get to perform right before they closed shop. Pretty disappointing. I went there to watch a friend perform and instead had to watch a bunch of people that knew each other go about how they love each other’s style etc. Limited seating and One restroom for about 30-100 people. Probably won’t be back.

::Shine has been a solid coffee shop/cafe/live venue for the last several years. It's changed owners a couple times, but with each new iteration comes a better version of the space. As of now, they've great food, coffee and tea drinks, beer and wine, lovely staff, and one of the last good open mics in town.

::I ❤️ Shine. The staff is friendly, the coffee is hot and tasty, and they even have delicious salads! The space is comfortable, and there is a variety of seating to choose from. My only gripe is that sometimes the kitchen / food prep creates smoke that is not properly ventilated. I have experienced eye irritation from this on 2 occasions. It's such a great place, though. I'll definitely keep coming back.
