  Great place to take young children. You have the bay on one side and access to the Sound on the other. You'd never think you're on Long Island when you look around at the surrounding landscape. You can see why Billy Joel fell in love with the area.

  It is a ten mile bike ride for me but it is secluded and usually not crowded. I made it a point to get there at least one day each week this summer.

  On this day November 20 20134, a notable only for the blustery chilly west wind blowing over this deserted stretch of Center Island Beach Village Park. This is exclusive, don't just pull up and try sitting on the sand,they have they own blackwater security . this is dusk bout 530-6pm looking west into the setting sun towards Manhattan just over the horizon. the water is Long Island Sound in front of me, behind me is Oyster Bay. i am In Long Islands Genter Island Beach Park, it;s a complex. the physical address is Bayville, New York 11709
