One of my favorite parks on Long Island. Awesome beach and great fields close to the main town. Plus they host Oyster Fest every year which is a blast

Nice place to go for short walk on a sunny day! It has a small play area for kids too.

This area of the park is a very serene and beautifully cared for Space out of respect of the late President Theodore Roosevelt. Walking paths Circle this absolutely beautiful wide open space. There is also a wonderful beach here and also a fantastic sports complex.

Spent many many hours fishing in that Park on Shore and in the bay wonderful beautiful scenery unfortunately the last few years it seems the place is deteriorating unfortunately there's an element there that doesn't respect the garbage cans and so on it's just a matter of upbringing and and morals I lived right across the street for quite a few years and was in there almost every day during the summer catching a few hours of fishing here and there still love the place but like I said I have noticed unfortunately even though the park workers work as hard as they do they can't keep up with the people that don't care about littering and so on so forth it bothers me I used to have to pick up other people's trash before I would fish because I couldn't stand to look at it people despoiling such a beautiful place anyway it's still as beautiful if you can get beyond that sore point hope this has helped someone definitely go there it's worth it there's playgrounds it is truly a beautiful Bay and Park
