  Horrendous service and nobody cares. Sears is the worst.

  I like this store but it is hit or miss. Sometimes there are very long lines and you have to stand to wait. It is also not always easy to find somebody to help you. They have surprising selections and their sales are amazing! You can also order online and just go to merchandise pick-up. This store will actually deliver to your car if you don't want to go inside!

  Worst delivery experience. I will never use sears again even if my life depended on it. My wife and I bought an LG washer and dryer and scheduled the delivery for March 30th. The washer was delivered defective, when the installation team installed the driver water went everywhere. We had water all over our basement which we were left to clean up. The delivery drivers told us we could get a replacement part or have a new washer delivered. Naturally we wanted a new washer I didn't pay full price for a refurbished washer. So the deliver drivers noted this and told us we would hear from Sears within 2 hours... That call never came, and it did not come on Saturday either. I HAD TO CALL THEM. To which I found out our Washer wouldn't be delivered till Wednesday btn 12 and 3. Multiple issues with this: 1st being they never called to inform of this or confirm that me the customer would be available for this delivery. 2nd if Sears delivers me a defective machine that isn't my problem and Sears should be overnight a new Washer since they couldn't complete their end of the deal. This is a new house we didn't have an existing washer to fall back on so now we are out of a washer with dirty cloths because Sears could not handle doing their job. This gets better after I speak to Sears on Monday I get a text updating me that it now wont be delivered till Friday!? How is this possible? How does Sears not know when they will be getting inventory in? I ship things every day and thanks to technology we know exactly when packages are showing up. How does Sears not have this ability? Customer service was useless the offered me no solution or apologies. Bottom line is i paid for my washer to be delivered on March 30th and at the pace Sears is going I won't receive it for another week. This is by far the worst experience I had purchasing any item online ever. I truly mean I will never use Sears again, even if they have the best price on whatever item I am looking to buy.

  Always really liked Sears. As handy guy, Sears was my go to store for clothes, tools, etc. Is a shame what's become of it. Paramus store was usually my store and I thought was good. Since it is now closed, it's either Hackensack or Wayne. This store has a very outdated feel. Tool section is half empty. Been awhile since I've been here, but is definitely a shell of it's former self. Is sad really.

  Shame on Sears. Their return policy is the worst. I bought some items for Christmas presents at the end of October . Decided not to give them and retun them and get something else. I went in today December 21 and was told I couldn't return or get store credit because return policy is 30 days. On receipt it says under Sears logo(hard to read)..Most items have a return policy of 30 days. I guess you have to guess if the item you buy is under this policy. Or do like I did, try to return. I spoke to a person named Barbara who said there was nothing she could do , not even give me store credit. I guess managers in sears aret lame ducks , they don't even have the ability to give store credit. Shame on sears I won't be shopping here anymore.
