::Not crowded. Nice playground, like the way the small slide is built into the rock, other nice equipment, but not a whole lot. Designed to blend in with the landscape. Dogs are allowed, they have dispensers for dog dooties, but not many garbage cans. No bathrooms. Didn't see sitting areas or picnic tables. 3 small lakes and canal along the trail. Saw a 3-4 foot snake cross sidewalk, two large turtles basking on log in middle of one of the smaller lakes. Deer prints underneath road bridge. Lots of annoying small flying bugs. Overall not bad, next park over doesn't allow dogs, so you know.

::People are so trashy! While I love seeing the wildlife (prairie dogs, rabbits, hawks, garter snakes, songbirds, etc), I definitely don't like seeing all the human evidence of illegally discarded trash everywhere.

::Such a neat little gem tucked into suburbia! I'm no ornithologist but there were tons of perty birds.

::Great little park in the area near Anschutz campus. Nice for a quick walk to ease the mind, or even I jog or bike ride. Always lots of Lime Bikes/ride sharing bicycles around. Right next to the Fitzsimmons light rail station.
