::Huge inner city park devoted to wild life and wet land preservation.

::Great place; love it that there are no bikes and especially NO DOGS. However, there is a trash problem on the south side of the area -- unsightly junk has collected by that little pond, definitely distracting from the lovely ambiance otherwise. I am a frequent visitor, and I left a phone message about this earlier today, March 2, 2018. I hope you can get it cleaned up soon. Thank you. Zoe Lappin, Denver.

::We love this little spot off the busy suburban roads of Aurora. Perfect place to take littles, middles and grown-ups. We’ve been in all seasons and there’s always something new to observe. There are covered areas if you hit a storm, rocks to climb over the river, and look-outs of the lake. We’ve hit it when conservation groups are doing family activities with back packs for kids to borrow for free—super fun with binoculars and clip boards, etc. We usually pack a lunch and stay at least an hour, more if it’s a particularly nice day. There is access to restrooms and a ramp for strollers. You can still see and hear the city but it’s definitely a reprieve.
