::I've used safelite at this location three times total. I had two good experiences but the last will be my last. The technician Wikson came to my house as scheduled and replaced the windshield on my car. Not wanting to be a nosey customer I did not stand over his shoulder to see what he was doing. When the job was complete I tipped him nicely and off he went. Shortly after I took a look and realized that all of the screws and clips on the cowling were not installed. Sifting around the area I found two clips in the grass, the rest were nowhere to be found and none of the screws could be found. The cowling was not resting against the window flush as it should and it was pretty obvious that it was not fitted correctly when installed. I called their customer service number and complained and was directed to the shop manager. The manager called me and after discussing it, he told me to come by the shop so they could take a look at the car. When I told him I wasn't available to do so, he said that they are open on Saturdays. This really defeated the purpose of having it done at my location. I ended up removing the cowling and fixing it myself. Upon doing so, I could see that it was really a sloppy job. None of the moldings that were replaced where fitted properly and it appears to be that the glass isn't in the ideal position vertically. I'll be lucky if the window doesn't leak in the near future. The technician that was sent to me was basically a hack. I'm sure he gets away with it because the average customer will never notice. Best of all, my tinted windshield was replaced with one that does not have the tinted band at the top. I specifically indicated I had a tinted window when I booked my appointment online. Unfortunately I did not notice this until much later. There's no way to tell from the receipt what model windshield my insurance company paid for but maybe I will give the insurance company a call.

::The team at the Safelight location in Freeport, NY is a group of professionals from the front desk reception area to the technicians and up the line to the manager Jerry. The team works well together in a concise manner and I was impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of everyone working at this location. Everyone I spoke to who worked there treated me as a valued customer as they provided the utmost care and attention to myself and my vehicle!

::Robert called me early to see if I would like my service done in the morning instead of the afternoon, which I appreciated greatly. He came right to the parking lot where I work and was done in no time! It was cold out and he even let me sit in his car to stay warm! He did an excellent job. Definitely recommend this service.

::They were at the shop early and they took me right away even though my appointment was later. One of the employees was even nice enough to take me to work which was not too far from the store, because it was raining. All in all an easy experience and they did a phenomenal job on the windshield. Everyone was amazed that they were able to save my Registration and Inspection stickers! Great job all around!

::Let me start off by saying, I had to go 3 times in order to finally have the front windshield on my 2014 Ford transit connect replaced. First appointment I go and they ordered the wrong windshield, had to reschedule, second time around, finally they got the correct one this time, left the vehicle got a call about 2 hours later that my vehicle is ready, I get there, get my paper work, keys and walk over to my vehicle to find out, yes it's a brand new windshield but it was chipped on one side... not happy at this point at all, $620 windshield, I paid for a brand new one, not a damaged one... Once again had to reschedule another appointment and have the windshield replaced again. So all in all not happy with there service at all.
