  Great small place to stay, almost don't want to rate it so other people don't find out and take it from us next time lol. The staff is very nice, quick housekeeping, thorough cleaning. Easy to get to, parking right on site. Really vintage exterior but updated rooms inside. The only issue for me is that the mattresses need updating, but I'm also super picky with beds. Others would likely not be fazed. Overall wonderful experience and will definitely stay again.

  Motel style is usually not my favorite because they have a reputation of being old, dirty, and unsafe feeling. but this inn REALLY surprised us. Rooms: Up to date furniture, CLEAN. (No smelly carpet, hard floors that were clearly mopped), clean retro bathroom. Service? Stellar. Our plane arrived early and the front desk adjusted our prescheduled pick up to accommodate. Shuttle to universal was also incredibly punctual. Friendly and safe drivers. If I have to nitpick anything, the mattresses are QUITE firm and some of the pillows are stained underneath the pillowcases. But it's nitpicking at best. We quite enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again for universal.

  Super clean rooms, friendly staff, there is a shuttle to Universal but needs to be booked in advance! Highly recommend we really enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, pool was clean and nice. Thanks.

  Very pleasant with our stay. Had an issue with our bathroom and they offered to changed our rooms without hesitation. Staff is so friendly and a nice quiet hotel to stay at. They offer free parking unlike other hotels and they also have a free shuttle for universal studio or other places. Great place to stay if visiting Universal/ Hollywood. Check in is at 4pm so if you arrive in the morning you can enjoy the city before checking in. Will definitely stay here again, only issue is the room with two beds are full size beds so if you’re on the thicker side two of you won’t fit in one bed unless sleeping on your side but it may be a little uncomfortable.

  Just okay. The rooms were clean, customer service was good and the shuttle to Universal Studios was very convenient. However, it is the only hotel we encountered on our trip that did not let us check in early. The front desk did not try to assist with providing us someplace to put our things despite informing them we hadn’t slept in over 24 hours and had come off an international flight. This was despite emailing them when booking, during which they said they could generally provide us a room from 12pm; however, upon arrival we couldn’t get into the room until after 3pm.
