::The Rothko Chapel serves as a meditative non-denominational Chapel. It is also a major work of modern art by American artist Mark Rothko (1903-1970) . In front the Broken Obelisk Obelisk a sculpture by Barnett (1905-1970). This was his best known sculpture dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King.
