  Employees use the same plastic glove over and over again. A new glove should be used for each different customer. When buying single pastries they are placed in a paper bag. They should be placed in the small box where you can still keep the integrity of the pastry.

  The Italian Ices are excellent though maybe not as well known as other Staten Island favorites. I always get the lemon which I love though others I have gone with tried other flavored which they enjoyed. Great place to stop on a bike ride as I did today. Rispoli's also has great cakes, cookies , pastries and bread. If you happen to be in the area in the early morning you just might get Italian bread that is still warm. Worth the visit.
