  They had plastic plates and utensils at breakfast. I was charged $10 more for the second night, without explanation. The elevator would not let you select your floor after you insert your card key. The room itself was pretty nice and the staff was professional and friendly.

  Hotel was very clean, room was nice. Only wish it had snack/soda machines and on the floor. Also an ice machine would be nice as we only stayed one night. Did not have time to freeze our own cubes. Easy access 24 hour secured parking lot at 1301 Market - $36/24 hours, and about 1 minute walk to hotel.

  I had a great experience at the Residence Inn. The location in Philadelphia is perfect for accessing all the tourest locations and good eats through out the downtown area. The staff and hotel experience were been accommodating, and I enjoyed the clean newly renovated rooms. While I would recommend this hotel, I would also make sure to review prices at the other 2 Marriotts that sit 100 feet away from this one.

  I stayed here for a week long conference while in Philly and was genuinely impressed. The hotel staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was always hot and delicious. Additionally the front desk was more than willing to replace a lost swipe card free of charge. The pull-out sofa bed was the comfiest I have ever slept on. It was extremely convenient how close this hotel was to the conference center, no more than a five-minute walk.

  What a great place to stay! I have been to many hotels in the Philadelphia area and even though some are more expensive than others, this hotel has everything from them for an affordable price. From the moment we got there we were greeted by a nice lady at the front desk. We asked if we could check in earlier and she accommodated us right away. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious, and with an amazing view of City Hall. It had everything we needed, kitchen, utensils, glassware, pots and pans, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. I was able to cook a nice meal, and felt right at home. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
