  After wearing my lush, magnificent full length Blackglama mink coat at President Obama's first inauguration and having it cleaned immediately afterwards by Ram, the weather hasn't been cold enough for me to wear fur until a few days ago when I first pulled out my "cleaned" coat and discovered that it was completely ruined by whatever process Ram used back in 2009. I weighed 20 lbs. more at the time and the coat closed with a 6-8 in. overlap in front. Since the "cleaning" the sides barely meet in front with no overlap. The sleeves and hem are 6-8 in shorter and the coat itself is 3-4 sizes smaller. The inner lining that ended 6-8 in. above the bottom of the lined pelts before cleaning, now almost hangs out below the bottom of the coat. I'm completely traumatized. Proper fur cleaning involves rotating it in specially treated saw dust that does not shrink it. I cannot imagine what Ram did to ruin my coat other than put it in drycleaning fluid. What possible process could unshrink mink pelts?
