  The hotel was fine. The front desk staff was rude. There was a person selling drugs in the back parking lot, who approached us attempting to make a sale. We cancelled our second night, stating the drug selling out of the back for our reason, and the front desk staff did not even question our reason. We did get a full refund. We did not feel comfortable with our car in the parking lot or leaving our belongings in the room during the day.

  I have stayed at many hotels over the years, and none have compared to the Quality Inn & Suites near the fairgrounds. Tim at the front desk was friendly and courteous, and welcomes every guest with a smile. Wanda, in housekeeping, has such a warm and inviting demeanor, and doesn't judge when you ask for more blankets because you are building an adult blanket fort. And finally the maintenance man, Kosmo. He is the king of dad jokes and fixing any issues in a timely manner.

  This place is not safe for your stuff. I left some stuff before from the other hotels but they kept it safe and I was able to retrieved my belongings. But here I don’t know 🤷‍♂️ for some reason they have a lot of cameras but it seems like it wasn’t working at all. I called back and forth for two days. Just to get a reply of we couldn’t find it. So sad that they don’t provide a good customer service at all. Plus they said smoking is not allowed but the minute we step foot into the hall way. The strong smell of marijuana is so noticeable that nobody is even checking it. The vending machine is not working, the coffee maker is not working. But that’s not a big issue to me and to my friends. It’s the security and the honesty of the people working in that hotel that I am questioning. They even don’t know how to empathize to their clients. So sad! I hope the BBB will review this hotel. It says here excellent??? Think twice before you check-in, in this hotel or hostel?. The most frustrating experience we ever had in a hotel. WILL DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK TO THIS HOTEL.

  My stay at Quality Inn was enjoyable! I enjoyed the clean room the most. The bed was very comfortable with fluffy pillows. The service was hospitable everyday with cleaning & making sure there were rags and towels in room. They were on their jobs. I slept quietly at night. It was peaceful and safe. I will definitely return, whenever I travel to Tampa again. Also, the breakfast was great! The 2 women that worked in the breakfast lobby were both generous and helpful. You will not regret your stay. For the price, it's worth it!!

  This is a perfectly acceptable Hotel. Good location, although, a bit tricky to actually get to from the highway. Punch the address into Google maps and follow it. That should get you to the hotel. There are one-way streets which can be confusing. A fair number of restaurants relatively nearby. Best bet is to go to Ybor City and visit the downtown area. Probably half a dozen or more restaurants that are worth the trip. Hotel itself is well kept up and seems to be pretty well run. Check-in went just fine. Internet is a pretty solid 10 meg or better download and 1/2 to Meg upload.
