  Having come here from my studies in elementary school to the conclusion of my graduate work, East Meadow Public Library has become a staple in my life. Coming here always gives me a sense of comfort and calm in an otherwise cruel and insane world. Aside from my experience tonight, where a very rude checkout lady felt the need to "whisper" to her coworker about my mistaking where the line of 1 began; I have nothing but endearing thoughts about this town's library.

  There are only 3 quiet study rooms. These are behind young adult room and whenever there is a presentation there, it can get pretty loud and hard to concentrate.

  The people at the circulation desk & reference desk were absolutely helpful.

  East Meadow Public Library has an amazing "children's room". I take my grandson here to play, read, do puzzles,color and so much more. They offer many classes and workshops for all ages.
