  Although the staff is professional, the time limits can be too restrictive at times. I was able to utilize the computer for two hours, which is good. But, that was the maximum time that was allotted to me for the entire day. This is when many computer stations were still empty, and there were not any customers waiting in line to utilize a computer. I think that the library staff should accommodate customers (every day but especially) on days when the library is not busy and not adhere so much to the time policies. I think it's appropriate for exceptions to be made in certain scenarios when the library's resources are not in high demand at that moment. Essentially, I could have kept using the computer because the library was empty. But, the staff member was adamant on following the rules for time-usage.

  It's hard when you feel unwelcome. I was trying to study over there, but there were no sits available, and the library tables were used to sale old fashioned books. By the way, it's a 15 limited minutes to use the computers when you don't have the library ID, destined for local people. The library needs technological improvement, but its sadly forgotten by the New York Education System and the Government.

  wasnt feeling well one day. spoke to one of the staff. she told me to leave. i went back in three days later to apologize and she told me she was going to call the police if i didn't leave. need to contact someone above her so i can continue to use the library. i live in hempstead and have a nassau county library card. i see and hear other visitors make trouble and they are let back in there. any suggestions who to speak to would be great

  Great selection of books, all very organized in alphabetical order. Makes everything quick to find.
