  We go to lots of great (and not so great) restaurants across the country and abroad. Tucked into a working class Queens block is one of the best: a seafood restaurant called Psari, “fish” in Greek and that says it all. This place is serious about serving the freshest fish, simply prepared (maybe a little heavy on the butter & olive oil if that’s possible) and deserves as many stars as fish in the sea. The room is as simple and delightful as the food, our server Daphne impeccably friendly and helpful. It’s a neighborhood place of world class quality.

  First time here at Psari.... came for lunch, the food and service was amazing... had grill octopus, fried calamari, fresh oysters, baked clams for appetizers and had fried flounder and shrimp & scallop with pasta... all foods were seasoned and cooked to perfection... definitely recommend and will come back...

  Tried several Greek spots in the area and I was thrilled coming here! Everything was excellent from the service, wine, food and, dessert. I ordered the grilled octopus, it was not gummy just perfection! Tender and delicious. I had the stuffed broiled shrimp with crabmeat and the seafood combo. All 5 stars delicious. Even the garlic bread and Greek salad. And the constant flow of lemon wedges, I love lemon in my water, salad, and seafood. Never had to ask once for extra. I will be coming back. Thanks for a great 1st experience.

  Psari is a dynamite place in Fish and seafood restaurant in Astoria Queens! It was originally called The Greek Captain which has been a staple of Astoria for dozens of years. A new owner took it over and remodeled it changed the name to Psari. The ambiance in Psari is very nice intimate setting. Psari is a perfect date place. The service is awesome and the food and very on point! They have a great lunch special as well at a great price point! Psari is known for its fresh fish and seafood selection. The Grilled Octopus is extremely delicious! It was seasoned & grilled perfectly. The Clams and Oysters on the half shell we fresh as can be. The Fried Calamari was tender and fried to perfection. and don’t forget to try the Dip Combo With Pita and Saganaki. One word for the Baked Clams “ WOW” Not only do they just serve fish They also have a great selection of Greek Style Lamb, Pork and Beef as well which are all grilled and seasoned to perfection. Complimentary Garlic bread is served prior to your meal. They have an very nice wine list also a nice selection of Beer & Liquor and also have Champagne

  Хорошее обслуживание. Можно вкусно поесть и с комфортом посидеть. Очень уютная обстановка. Порции ресторанные.
