  My first time to visit this place and I was not disappointed. The cashier Porcha was very friendly and helped me decide! Very family oriented an the retro look was amazing. I had the Italian beef sandwich dipped with cheese, a little messy but was definitely worth it. I would highly recommend visiting this locals spot!

  This restaurant has multiple of items to satisfy every crave. Ribs,hot dogs,burgers ,fries, shakes,etc. Pricey but the quality of the food is amazing. It is definitely a staple in Chicago!

  It is a well-decorated restaurant with good food. The servings for fries and milk shake are good, but hot dogs were a bit insufficient. Moreover, we decided to order two extra milkshakes at the place, but it took them ~15-20 mins to get two milkshakes done. There were not a lot of customers at the time, but some employees did not seem to be preparing food for customers. Therefore, I think ordering online is the optimal method. Overall, it is a great hot dog place, and I would like to dine-in once the pandemic becomes better.

  Very busy location. So many staff working around the clock. I like the vibe and decoration. We ordered regular hotdogs and it was delicious. Fresh bread 👍🏾

  So, I know I know - Chicago might be over Portillo’s but I have no idea why. I was told I had to experience it, and I am so glad I did what I was told. I had the hot beef “Portillo’s way” with cheese sauce. *warning* that was a 15 napkin sandwich, but it was AMAZING!!! Life changing. I also got a chocolate cake shake per recommendation - it was ok, probably would have preferred traditional chocolate.
