::They make there own wine!!!! Sweet!!!

::This is an AUTHENTIC Italian restaurant; one of the few in Pittsburgh. I have traveled through Southern Italy and the food and wine here are very comparable to the real restaurants where the Italian locals eat. The fried zucchini is perfect; breaded, not battered. I don't know what they put in the breading, but they shouldn't change a thing. Grandma's sauce and the baked maccheroni are exactly what one would expect from an Italian grandmother. The only restaurants in America that I have experienced that are this good are on Mulberry Street in New York or in North Beach in San Francisco. The wines are spectacular (I like the tannat best, but they are all great). This place is the real thing.

::Quaint and rustic ‘wine’ dining. Friendly staff, no-tipping, delicious food and fantastic wine.

::The atmosphere and service was great, but the food was tasteless.

::They need to extend weekend hours. This does not give us time to come and enjoy! Closed on Sunday. Sunday is a big day in restaurant business. Not sure why hours are at a minimum??
