::If you want to be lied to about your warranty and get a transmission that won't last as long as your oil filter this is the transmission shop for you.

::**BEWARE** I purchased a "Remanufactured" 4L60E transmission for my sons 1997 GMC Jimmy in December 2013. I was told they were in the process of moving. I did receive the transmission, installed in January and followed all of thier procedures for the "3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty". The vehicle had 114,239 miles on install, and the transmission failed at 114,836 miles. I have been a technician for 30 years and installed the transmission myself. Everything went smooth, no leaks, transmission shifted well and I was very pleased. On March 2nd my son calls me, and said the transmission was making a "ticking" noise, then the vehicle would not move at all. I had the vehicle towed home, contacted PDQ and was told to have it towed to a transmission shop (of thier choice) and they would take care of it. I received a call from the service manager of the transmission shop, stating that they did not want to pay for any diagnostics. I was told by "John" that the service manager was not on the same page with him. (Whatever that meant) So, I had to have the vehicle towed back to my house, and was told to remove the tranmission and see if the tabs were broken off the transmission pump. I removed the transmission for the second time, removed the converter and sure enough, the transmission pump had failed. I followed up with PDQ, told them what I found, and after repeated emails, I finally receive a reponse from them stating it was damaged on installation and would not be covered under warranty. I told "John" my back ground and explained that the damage did not occur on install, not to mention the vehicle went 597 miles and 2 months without a problem. So, I removed and disassembled the transmission pump, sent "John" pictures to show him that the pump failed, that it was not damaged. After 4 emails, I get a response stating he would not cover under warranty. So, here I am 3 tows at my expense, mutiple emails and not to mention the vehicle down time, and this company will not stand behind thier product. They should change thier warranty policy to 6 years, 200K miles since they will not cover the warranty anyway. Do not go thru the hassle I did, buy from someone else!!!!!! Best regards, Jim Gilman
