::We saw good reviews!! We went on last minute and asked for decoration on a plain cake for 21st birthday, as per chefs choice!!But the guy representative of the shop was like we can’t help you!! “ we asked for just a simple surprise by chefs choice”!! and we cant help you was the ans though we were ready to pay whatever the cost is!! It’s not professionalism i believe!!Or was a bad timing encounter!!

::Tried this pastry shop since our local one recently closed. The cakes/pastries are undoubtedly gorgeous to look at. We sampled 3 items and 2 out of the 3 had that stale "sitting in the pastry case too long" flavor but they were still good enough to not throw away. I wish bakeries would keep their cakes/pastries in individual plastic containers so they don't get that stale refrigerated flavor. They won't look as pretty but they will taste so much better. At the very least, they should put what doesn't sell for the day in Tupperware for overnight and that will slow down the going stale process. Anyway, we could tell that they used high quality ingredients in their products and their creations had the right flavor (except the staleness) so we will be back but maybe we will place an order to be made the day of if we can. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful too.

::MALIBU - Highly recommended! The birthday boy and every single guest love it. I'm not a person who is fond of chocolate cake, but I've found it super great tasting! Love it! YULE LOG CAKE - Had it for Christmas. The texture and taste of the cake itself is just okay. The "cream" on the surface tastes like "undissolvable icing" in the mouth. Overall, it's just not good at all and very disappointing.

::Flavor, presentation, and service. All here. Best pastry in the DC metro area. Consistent quality, outstanding service. Fair prices, friendly. This place is NOT trendy, in a good way. Flavors are nuanced, fresh tasting. Even the smell of the pastries (right before the first bite) is dead-on. Plenty of variety, but not trying to be everything to everybody. They make what they make, and they make it well. A real local delight. Everything is always fresh and consistent, even over a period of over 10 years of tasting pastry here. Napoleons, Cake, Cookies, Almond Horns. Everything is outstanding. If you get pastry from anywhere else, you will be sorry after trying pastry at Randolphs. Just go here, and be done with it!
