VERY BEAUTIFUL park. It would be great if people read the rules and not bring dogs to this park. I enjoy going out hiking at least 2-3 times a week.. Breathtaking views, see attached pics

Definitely our favorite hiking and outdoor trail area in the Fort Worth area for the entire family. Lots of scenic views. Pretty well shaded in most areas except during mid-day. Very clean!! Lots of different trail options. Benches and picnic tables at different locations along the way. If you come during the right times you can definitely see anything from deer to rabbits, birds and snakes.

Awesome! A beautiful place to take kids on an adventure, with so much to see, including breathtaking views of the lake, trees, cactus, deer, armadillos etc. In the Spring butterflies are everywhere with new life blooming everywhere. Take advantage of a way to get away from the city and yet still be in your neighborhood! I Love dogs, but personally many people don't pick up after them.

Family always enjoys going here to hike. Only issue is either some people can't read the No Pets sign at the entrance, don't care to obey the law or their dog is special so the law doesn't apply. During out 3 hour visit we saw 4 different owners with dogs . Enforce the law to keep the park in good shape otherwise it will be become a dog park and I'll bring my 2 big dogs, 90lb Rottweiler and 130lb English Mastiff.

Great walk or jog depending on your type of work out. Options on distance is up to you. Map points are on the trail which are great to choose how far you want to go. So far I've seen plenty of Armadillos ruffling through the leaves, deer, and turtles in the lake. Update.. seen a bobcat today, southwest on the main trail.
