  Worst experience of my life. Went in fully intending on buying a bicycle for my wife and I, but the guy working there (slender, dark hair, around 5.10-5.11ft, crooked teeth, smokes) started to get edgy and gave us a real attitude for no reason that we’re aware of! Telling my wife she’s getting ahead if herself, waiving me to move to the side with his hand, telling us “that’s obviously an extra small” when we asked what size was this bike. Absolutely ridiculous! When I saw that he has a problem with us, i told him what’s his problem and just left. Obviously we’re never coming back!

  Best bike shop! The staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They went out of their way to hold my bike for me when I left it at the shop after I moved. Would recommend them to anyone. Great selection of bikes and equipment. And the dog there is super cute and friendly! Thanks Papillon!!!

  Papillon Cycles is the best bike shop for new bikes and repairs around Columbia Pike. Friendly staff who don't hard sell, rather understand your needs and suggest accordingly. Been here many times for numerous quick fixes and was never disappointed.

  My favorite bike shop in NOVA. My friend recommended this place last year when I was looking to by my first hybrid bike. They walked me through options, and i test drove quite a few. I ended up buying Giant Roam and the bike is good as new after an year and half. I serviced the bike once (free first year service) and the bike was even better. When i had an issue with my rear brake and took the bike in, they found out the issue is pretty simple (I tightened the hydraulic cable too much when installing a kick stand, duh) and didn’t charge anything for it. I will certainly recommend this place for your first, second and tenth bike purchase :-) i have been shopping around bike shops in NOVA and DC and this shop gave me the best experience on every visit.

  Super responsive, reasonable prices. And, as others have said, they don't nickle-and-dime you either. Always interesting geopolitical discussions while you wait for your flat to be fixed!
